The briefing center building is in downtown Boston, at the corner of Federal and Franklin Streets.  Please be sure to read Once Inside the Building as well as driving directions. We do not recommend driving in Boston.

From Public Transportation (The T)

 

Green Line

Exit from the Park Street station. Walking away from The Common, cross Tremont Street and walk down Winter Street towards Downtown Crossing. After 1 block (at Washington Street) Winter Street becomes Summer Street. Follow Summer Street for 4 blocks and then take a left onto Devonshire Street. Near the end of that block, you will find the rear entrance to 75-101 Federal Street on your right.
 

Red and Orange Lines
Exit from the Downtown Crossing station and take the Summer Street exit out of the station. Walk down Summer Street towards Hawley Street (Macy's will be on your right). After 4 blocks, take a left onto Devonshire Street. Near the end of that block, you will find the rear entrance to 75-101 Federal Street on your right.  From the Blue line, transfer to Orange line at State station and follow these directions.


Blue Line

Transfer to the Orange Line and follow directions above.

 

Silver Line

For the Washington Street line, travel to Downtown Crossing. Walk down Summer Street towards Hawley Street (Macy's will be on your right). After 4 blocks, take a left onto Devonshire Street. Near the end of that block, you will find the rear entrance to 75-101 Federal Street on your right.

 

For the Waterfront and Airport Terminal lines, travel to South Station. Walk up Summer Street, crossing Atlantic Avenue and Purchase Street. Take a right onto High Street and, at the end of the block, a left onto Federal Street. The front entrance to 75-101 Federal Street will be on your left before the first set of lights.

 

Driving From Logan Airport

  • Take Mass Pike/I-90 West/Ted Williams Tunnel/I-93 to exit 25-24 towards South Boston.
  • Make a slight right onto B Street.
  • At the end of B Street, make a left onto Northern Avenue/Seaport Boulevard. Continue to follow Seaport Boulevard over the bridge.
  • Make a left onto Surface Road/Purchase Street.
  • Make a right onto Summer Street.
  • Make an immediate right onto High Street.
  • Make a left onto Federal Street. 75-101 Federal Street is at the end of the block, just before the first set of lights.

From the North

  • Take I-93 South to exit 20 A-B towards South Station.
  • Stay in the right hand lane and merge onto Surface Road/Purchase Street.
  • Make a right onto Summer Street.
  • Make an immediate right onto High Street.
  • Make a left onto Federal Street. 75-101 Federal Street is at the end of the block, just before the first set of lights.

From the South

  • Take I-93 North (the Southeast Expressway) to exit 20 towards South Station/I-90 West/Worcester.
  • Follow the signs for Chinatown/South Station.
  • Make a right onto Kneeland Street. Continue to follow Kneeland Street as it turns left and becomes Atlantic Avenue.
  • Make a left onto Summer Street.
  • Make an immediate right onto High Street.
  • Make a left onto Federal Street. 75-101 Federal Street is at the end of the block, just before the first set of lights.

From the West (Mass Pike/I-90 East)

  • Take I-90 East/Massachusetts Turnpike to exit 24 A-B-C on the left towards I-93 South/Quincy/South Station/Concord, NH/I-93 North.
  • Take exit 24 A for South Station.
  • Make a left at the fork to continue towards Atlantic Avenue. Merge onto Atlantic Avenue.
  • Make a left onto Summer Street.
  • Make an immediate right onto High Street.
  • Make a left onto Federal Street. 75-101 Federal Street is at the end of the block, just before the first set of lights. 

Parking

Parking at the building is available but sometimes limited in the 75-101 Federal Garage. If it's full:  The Central Parking garage next door at 1 Devonshire Place street is simple and one where they may take the keys and park you in temporarily, but relatively inexpensive and VERY close.


Once Inside the 75-101 Federal Street building:

  • We are located on the 19th floor of 101 Federal Street (Not 75 Federal).
  • From the lobby, take the wood elevators further West and closest to the security desk, not the black and brass art deco elevators, which are on the Franklin Street end of the building (these are for 75 Federal).
  • Check elevators or at security desk to make sure you're on the correct side at Elevators 16 - 31.
