Pursuit of Performance Excellence: Business Success through Effective Plant Operations Metrics

 

This online survey was open for response from Producers and Manufacturers in the Fall of 2011. 

 

Five of the first 50 respondents who completed the survey were selected to get a copy of the all-new Second Edition MESA Metrics Guidebook and Framework.  This in-depth guide is normally only available to premium members.  All responders, upon completion of the survey, will immediately receive the Metrics that Matter Revisited: Summary Report of a 2010 study of metrics best practices. At the conclusion of the study in February, all responders will receive Pursuit of Performance Excellence:  Business Success through Effective Plant Operations Metrics, the full report of findings that will include your response. 
 

Cambashi's Julie Fraser co-chairs the Metrics Working group for Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA) International.  This new research study is underway in partnership with MESA.  Past studies from Cambashi and MESA include Metrics that Matter Revisited (see past studies below) and Correlating Plant Performance to Business Performance, available to Premium MESA Members (www.mesa.org).

 

Sponsors of this study will gain in thought leadership, visibility, and understanding of the market and its maturity in the use of performance management practices, metrics, and software systems.  Over the course of the study, our quantitative and qualitative surveys will gather data from practitioners in companies that allow sharing of actual performance metrics under strict non-disclosure. This participation will lead to industry views of performance targets and a platform from which to develop a maturity model to drive increased performance, as well as other tools such as dashboard frameworks and ROI models.
