Boston, MA, USA, Aug 30, 2011 – Cambashi is proud to be an analyst sponsor of MESA’s North American conference – a meeting of manufacturers, producers, industry leaders and solution providers.  The theme is “Cloudy with a Chance for Profits,” and Principal Industry Analyst and President of Cambashi Inc. Julie Fraser will introduce two workshops on September 19th and lead an Unconference discussion on Metrics.  

The MESA conference provides attendees with a forum to network and discuss real-world experiences, challenges, and best practices when it comes to achieving real-time operational excellence. Accomplished author and consultant Michael McMillan will share his unique insights on creative thinking, innovation and positive change as the keynote speaker.

The first workshop showcases MESA Metrics Makeover Contest North American winners team from Cormetech, and it is titled Real-Time Decisions: Linking Plant Floor Metrics to Financial Business Drivers. The second MESA Metrics workshop Fraser will co-lead is Diagnose Challenges, Improve Outcomes and Deliver ROI with Performance Metrics.  In this workshop Fraser and the working group activity leaders will share a few highlights from the new edition of the MESA Metrics Guidebook and Framework, White Paper 35 Using Metrics to Diagnose and Solve Business Problems paper and webcast, the MESA Metrics that Matter research series, and ISO KPI Standards on which MESA is a liaison, and new MESA ROI Guidebook.  The Unconference session is an open forum  for discussing issues of performance measurement and improvement with Metrics Working Group co-chairs and others.
