While you are visiting Cambashi web pages, we respect your privacy. We may request certain details from you, like your name, mailing address, job title, email address and information about your areas of business interest. You may choose whether or not you wish to provide us with these details. Upon request we will remove any individual from our e-Zine subscriber list or other specific interest mailing list.

Use of Your Information

The data you supply will be used only by Cambashi. If you register to receive Cambashi's e-Xpertise in Industry e-Zine, you will be asked to provide your e-mail address. We do not sell your details nor do we provide this information to any third party.  The information you give us is kept on our internal database, and we would only contact you if we thought the subject was of interest to you.

We also track the Internet addresses of our visitors and analyse this data for trends and statistics. Our website accomplishes this through the use of cookies. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we put on your computer when you are on our website. These cookies allow us to distinguish you from other users of the website but they only correlate to Internet addresses, which are not linked to personally identifiable information.

The cookies we use are persistent ‘analytical’ cookies. They allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the site when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our website works, for example, by making sure users are finding what they need easily.

We use two kinds of cookies for this purpose. One relates to our use of Google Analytics, and the other relates to our use of a content management system (CMS).

The second persistent analytics cookie is set by our CMS and works in a similar way to the Google Analytics cookies. For any user referred to our site from Google, we use a cookie to store the pages viewed in their session. If that user proceeds to volunteer information including their name and email address, that information will be associated with the cookie data in our CMS, enabling us to connect a previously anonymous session with a particular user.  However, this information is not actually stored in the cookie. If a user does not volunteer any information, that session will remain unidentified and untraceable to us.
